Privacy
Last updated 4 November 2026.
RPG Report is an independent, free, non-commercial project. This page says what the site collects. It is plain-language information, not legal advice.
Visitors
We do not ask visitors to sign in, we do not run advertising or analytics scripts, and the public pages set no cookies of their own. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps ordinary server logs, such as IP address and requested page, to run and secure the service.
Sign-in (administrators only for now)
While the site is being built, sign-in with Google is available only so the site's operators can reach the admin area. If you sign in, Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture. We use an Auth.js session cookie to keep you signed in, and we store your account record (name, email, picture, sign-in links) in Google Firestore. We use it only to recognise you. Ask us to delete it at any time.
Data we collect from other places
The reports are built from counts of public activity gathered from third-party sources: for example how often a game is searched for, mentioned or listed. These are aggregate figures about games and topics, not profiles of people.
YouTube API Services
RPG Report uses YouTube API Services. By using it you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
From the YouTube API we store public data about videos and channels (for example titles, channel names, publish dates and view, like and comment counts). We do not use YouTube API Services to collect data about our visitors.
To ask us to delete data we hold, or to ask a question, write to hello@rpgreport.org.
